Day -09 – So hard to watch my little girl in this pain and suffering.
Hayley finally slept a bit better
Continually holding a pillow on her stomach for the sharp pain
She has finally moves from ICU to a private room.
It’s so quiet that we almost can’t sleep. There is a big space for mom and our own bathtub and big washroom, closets.
Hayley is a little more coherent today. She says her pain is a little better.
Hayley is moving around very well.
She has 15 pillows on her bed.
They do hourly blood/sugar checks even though the pump is regulation the blood/sugar levels.
Walking seems to be getting stronger every day
She is still with quite a bit of pain still.
We are hopeful the NG comes out today.
Dr. Shapiro is always positive and confident about Hayleys recovery. Too bad he was WRONG!
Checked Residual Balance in stomach again for the NG-Tube Removal. There was still too much fluid.
NG did not come out
Went to the “Beach” painted birdhouse (hospital)
