Easter 2012 at Sickkids Hospital
We spent her 2012 Easter at Sickkids Hospital on a feeding tube. No turkey dinner or anything for Hayley or mom that day! Hayley had nothing to eat for Hayley for 2 weeks not even ice! Just as it started to work and her pain started to level out they (hospital in denial of the treatment being successful) ripped her off the PICC line (way too early) made a conclusion that shutting down her pancreas was not the answer to her pain. IT WAS AND STILL IS THE PROBLEM! I beg to differ with them to this very day
The next day gave her their first ever CPB – Celiac Plexus Block to a child. Too many people involved, too rushed, too much at once, too fast all about the budget and Hayley is worse today than before we started!!! Who’s to blame….we are I guess for even suggesting Sickkids could be slightly negligent in rushing her through the PICC! The answer may have proven to be an ugly on but at least we would have better pain control! VIEW VIDEO….
